※ The preparatory course
1.is a comprehensive five-day course for college-bound students.
2.is designed to make students understand grammatical structures by using basic sentence patterns and to master 4 language skills (i.e., speaking, listening, reading, and writing) required in taking classes at institutes of higher education in Japan.
3.gives students quarterly test so that they could assess their language abilities every three months and consult with their teachers on how to effectively study Japanese.
4.divides students into classes by their skill levels and groups classes for intermediate-level and advanced-level students according to their skill levels and their purposes so that they could study in a class suited for their abilities.
※ Course Hour 4 hours/day *5 days from Monday through Friday (20 hours/week)

Programs of Study
Beginners
Build basic grammar, kanji, vocabulary, and expression skills useful for daily life.
Develop practical communication skills to express one’s idea by studying basic sentence patterns.
Learn to read and write simple sentences.
Intermediate
Learn grammar systematically and build up vocabulary and kanji to acquire natural Japanese.
Develop expression skills to offer a logical explanation about what one thinks or what is going on in society.
Develop listening and reading comprehension abilities using various materials.
Have lessons geared for the preparation of the Japanese
Language Proficiency Test (N2 level), the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, and essays.
Advanced
Acquire high-level Japanese skills by studying rich expressions,vocabulary and kanji.
Acquire skills to exchange and describe opinions by making full use of already-learned vocabulary and grammar.
Have lessons geared for the preparation of the Japanese
Language Proficiency Test (N1 level).

SHORT-TERM COURSE
Beginners
Learn how to read hiragana and katakana and to write hiragana.
Learn entry-level grammar and vocabulary putting emphasis on speaking and listening to acquire minimum Japanese ability required for daily life.
Intermediate
Learn how to read and write katakana.
Learn basic grammar, vocabulary, and useful expression for daily life.
Understand Japanese culture and customs, and acquire communication skills useful for real-life situations.
Develop listening and reading comprehension abilities.
Advanced
Acquire comprehensive ability to read, write, listen, and speak Japanese.
Acquire high-level communication skills to express opinions and to discuss on current events using a newspaper or other materials.
Have lessons geared for the preparation of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N1/N2 levels).
